Hello Predictive Modeling students,

Please find attached data is a Weekly case sales data of wine from a wine distribution company from 17 January 2004 to 26 May 2007.

Data hierarchy has three levels: Type (base level), Region, and Total Sales.

Four aggregate wine types: tblred (table red), tblwt (table white), value and vintage (limited production).

Four regions: reg1 to reg4.

*Analysis for the region assigned to your group:
*There is not a long history, and demand for small wines is more volatile.
*Fit a model to the Sales of each Type.
*Assess price, holiday, promotional and possibly the lagged Sales’ effects on each Type.
*Justify your models using statistical analysis.
*Generate forecast about six months into the future (after 26 May 2007) for each Type.
*How to set price and run promotion to maximize long-term revenue?

Very good project for Predictive Modeling students.....
